EUROCET is an online multilingual registry that publishes official and updated data on tissues and cells donation and transplantation activity from all EU member states, collected by the Italian National Transplant Centre (CNT).
Along with a new layout responding to all web-accessibility and usability criteria (W3C), the portal is provided with a restricted area directly available from the homepage. EU member states competent authorities for tissue and cells transplantation can log in and directly upload their national activity data and tissue establishment list.
The portal presents an updated news and events section and a complete list of the most relevant medical journals and European bylaws regarding donation and transplantation. Non expert users can consult and take contact with the National Marrow Donor Registries, if they wish to gain further information or be registered as donors, and all the most representative national volunteers and patients' associations.
Public users are also provided with a very helpful tool such as a multilingual glossary that can be looked up or printed as needed, allowing anyone to approach the transplantation world with a basic but sufficient knowledge.
